KENYA MWIRIA AA – Coffee of the month in the ranking of Dabov specialty coffee

This full body coffee has the classic characteristics of the Kenyan coffees with a taste of blackcurrant, red fruit, chocolate and honey, with a rich fruity and refreshing aroma. It illustrates the wonderful best traditions of coffee production in Kenya. Mwiria AA is one of the treasures of grains presented during the largest coffee exhibition in Africa – AFCCE.
Coffees DABOV Specialty Coffee are selected after numerous tastings and tests. Selected are only coffees from plantations that maintain quality and have suitable climatic conditions for growing coffee. The coffee is in the ranking "special" and is collected by hand, baked in a bakery for gourmet coffee and packed up to 1 hour after baking to preserve the aroma.
Kenya Mwiria AA was bred and processed by the farmers of the Central Ngandory Farmers Cooperative Society. Their farms are located at 2000 m above sea level in the Embu area in the south-eastern foot of Mount Kenya. It is the highest mountain in the country and the second height in Africa after Kilimanjaro. The cold volcano is not only a landscape element, but also contributes to the richness of the soil and the cool air, thanks to which the Kenyan coffees enjoy such a superb taste. Embu borders Kirinaga to the west and is one of the traditional areas for growing coffee in Kenya. Agriculture is a major industry in the local economy, and the specialty coffee sector occupies a significant place in it, along with the cultivation of tea and macadamia nut.
